Claude Sonnet 5 lands, and Fable 5 returns

June 29, 2026

Claude Sonnet 5 lands, and Fable 5 returns

The Claude 5 family fills out on Anuma this week: Claude Sonnet 5 replaces Sonnet 4.6 everywhere you pick a model, and Claude Fable 5 — Anthropic's frontier Mythos-class model — returns for Pro subscribers. Mobile gets a matching Council Mode redesign, independent per-chat streaming, and home suggestions personalized from your memories. And a new opt-in PII redaction setting strips emails, phone numbers, and card numbers from your messages before they ever reach a model provider.

The Anuma app is here

The Anuma app is here

Anuma is now on the App Store and Google Play — every model, one app, fully private. Sign in with your wallet or the usual email, Google, and Apple options; a single persistent composer spans home and chat; a floating translucent header rides the top; and if the app is ever killed mid-answer, relaunching recovers the full response. Chats also gain live data — web search, crypto, stock, and weather, cited inline — plus AI-generated PDFs, syntax-highlighted code, and smarter Council presets.

Anuma connects to your apps — and chat starts showing its work

Anuma connects to your apps — and chat starts showing its work

This week Anuma plugs into the tools you already use: connect Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar independently, with per-tool control over what each can do in a chat. Replies get richer too — interactive maps, timelines, and image collages now render inline, and Anuma can build and preview a working app right in the conversation. Four new open-source models land (MiniMax M3, GLM 5.2, Qwen 3.7 Plus, Kimi K2.7 Code), Auto becomes the default for everyone, and cross-chat search starts returning cited snippets from your chats, memories, and artifacts.

Claude Fable 5 lands

June 8, 2026

Claude Fable 5 lands

This week Anuma gets a new top-tier model: Claude Fable 5, Anthropic's newest flagship, available to Pro subscribers and now sitting at the top of the picker. Pair it with the new Auto option and Anuma will choose the right model for each message on its own. We also gave your Memory Vault the export button it's long deserved — download everything Anuma remembers as portable JSON, or import it back into another account. And privacy gets tighter: incognito chats are fully sealed off from memory, with Passkey sign-in arriving on iOS.

Sharper memory across every chat

June 1, 2026

Sharper memory across every chat

The Memory Vault gets a runtime upgrade this week. Every completed assistant reply auto-extracts facts and events into your vault, identity facts get pinned into every system prompt, and the chat pipeline now uses a unified recall tool — internal evals showed a +26 point recall jump on the LongMemEval suite. Plus PDFs become first-class attachments on web, the Library picks up an Apps tab, the URL scheme moves to clean paths, and the mobile-web sidebar gets the iOS slide-out drawer treatment.

Anuma Access opens to everyone

Anuma Access opens to everyone

Anuma Access is publicly available — anyone can now lock ZETA, earn credits, and redeem rewards inside the app. We also rolled the flagship to Claude Opus 4.8, added Gemini 3.5 Fast, shipped a Temporary chat mode that doesn't write to storage, added a theme picker, turned mobile push notifications on, and brought smooth streaming markdown to mobile.

Save any line as a memory

Save any line as a memory

When something in a chat reply is worth keeping, you can now highlight it and turn it into a Memory in one click — Anuma rewrites the selection into a clean entry you can edit before saving. The same toolbar can quote a selection back as context for your next message. We also rebuilt streaming markdown for a smoother render, opened a guest trial so anyone can try Anuma without signing in, and added a new Storage panel in Settings.

The big mobile rebuild lands

May 11, 2026

The big mobile rebuild lands

The Anuma mobile app — coming soon to iOS and Android — got a top-to-bottom design pass this week. Chat header, composer, Council Mode, Memories, settings, signup, model picker, image and video generation, sidebar drawer — all redesigned to match the new Figma. The newest models and select credit packs are now Pro-only, the custom cookie consent gave way to Cookiebot, and a few labels got cleaner across the product.

Grok 4.3 lands, and cross-tab sync gets leaner

Grok 4.3 lands, and cross-tab sync gets leaner

Grok 4.3 is now selectable alongside the rest of xAI's models in Anuma — xAI's latest, drop-in available across the model picker. Behind the scenes, the cross-tab streaming pipeline switched from full-snapshot updates to deltas, so multi-tab chats stay in lockstep with less bandwidth and quicker convergence under heavy streaming. A small chat-history fix rounds out the week: synthetic tool-result placeholders no longer leak into the model's view of your conversation history, keeping answers grounded in what you actually said.

Push notifications go live, and mobile's almost ready

Push notifications go live, and mobile's almost ready

Anuma now pings you when scheduled tasks and background agents finish on the web — kick off a long run, close the tab, and we'll let you know when it lands. Meanwhile the mobile app, coming soon to iOS and Android, picked up slide deck mode and Image Studio preset parity with the web. Council Mode auto-exits when a single model remains, and the cookie consent prompt moved to a calmer non-blocking bar.
