Kimi K3 Lands, and Memory Gets Sharper

Moonshot AI's newest flagship joins the roster, and Anuma's memory quietly gets smarter.
Kimi K3 joins the lineup
Kimi K3, Moonshot AI's new flagship open-weight model, is now in the model picker for every conversation. It brings vision and deep reasoning in one model — pick it directly, and look for the New badge under the Kimi group.
Recall that earns its keep
A conversation used to consider your whole memory vault on every turn. Now it pulls in only the memories relevant to what you're discussing, and the conversation's Memories panel shows exactly what was recalled — with relevance scores, so you can see why. New memories are also double-checked against the conversation they came from before they're saved, which means fewer confidently-wrong "facts" in your vault.
Your memory topics now travel with you, too: edit a topic on your laptop and it shows up on your phone, intact through a restore or a device migration.
Two more memory upgrades round it out: memories imported from ChatGPT or Claude are now encrypted at rest like everything else, and the mobile app can export your entire vault as readable Markdown from the Memory Vault menu.
Steadier everywhere
This was also a heavy stability week. On web, the two most common session-breakers are gone: iOS Safari tabs no longer lose their local database after backgrounding, and a startup failure that could strand the app without local storage is fixed. Image attachments upload reliably again, restoring a backup with very large media no longer crash-loops the mobile app, and the Credits & Usage panel finally lines up with your billing cycle — full totals, per-tool spend and all.
