Claude Fable 5 lands
Say hello to Claude Fable 5, Anthropic's newest flagship and the most capable model we've put in the picker yet. It's available to Pro subscribers — our first Pro-only model — and it sits right at the top of the Anthropic group on web and mobile, ready whenever you want to reach for the top shelf.
Don't want to think about which model to use? The picker now has Auto, marked with a small triangle. Choose it once and Anuma routes each message to the model best suited to the task — quick questions go somewhere fast, hard problems go somewhere deep — across web and mobile, including open-source options like Qwen 3.6 Max Preview and Ling 2.6 Flash. We also corrected their labeling: both are open-source models, and they now route through Anuma's private infrastructure where they belong.
The export button your memories deserved
Your Memory Vault has quietly grown as you chat — the facts and context that make Anuma feel like it actually knows you. This week it finally opens up. A new Export action downloads everything in your vault as a single portable JSON file, and Import reads an Anuma export right back in. Keep your own backup, audit exactly what's stored, or move your memory to another account — it's your data, and now you can pick it up and take it with you.
Restoring is smoother, too. Backups bring your media back on demand instead of all at once, a slim sync bar rides the top of the screen so you can watch progress, and older chats free up local space by re-downloading images, audio, and video only when you tap them.
Privacy, tightened
Incognito conversations are now completely walled off from memory — nothing from a temporary chat reaches memory extraction or your vault. Passkey multi-factor sign-in arrives on iOS with a matching management view on web, and the behavior-based and NPS emails we send now fire only with your explicit analytics consent. The first time a backup uploads, Anuma asks first.
