The big mobile rebuild lands

The big mobile rebuild lands

The big mobile rebuild

The iOS and Android apps aren't out yet, but the codebase saw the biggest design push of the year so far. Almost every surface picked up a Figma-driven redesign: chat header, composer (with proper keyboard accessory), Council Mode, Memories, settings, account, credits, personalization, signup and login screens, model selector and info modal, image generation (dot-grid loading, 2-column Image Studio), video generation (with frame attachments), and the choose-plan screen.

A new sidebar drawer shipped — swipe to open, swipe-left to dismiss, profile row in the footer — alongside a shared top bar across the app and swipe-to-dismiss sheets. Recents are now searchable with a category filter dropdown. Audio mode got parity with web, suggestions included. Artifacts was renamed to Library to match the web app, and nine new locale translations went in.

None of this is in users' hands yet, but the app is much closer to launch shape than it was last week.

Plans shift: latest models gated to Pro

After the broad "every model on every plan" rollout last month, the latest models and select credit packs are now gated to the Pro tier. Free and Starter still have a wide model selection — but the newest snapshots land on Pro first.

Renames + copy refresh

A few labels got cleaner. "Your Memories" became Memories in the web sidebar. Anuma Access "Staking" became Locking across the product, with a refreshed locking page to match. Together with the mobile Artifacts → Library rename, the vocabulary across surfaces is more consistent.

Privacy

The custom cookie consent banner is gone — replaced with Cookiebot, which gives finer-grained category controls (necessary, preferences, statistics, marketing). Coinbase Onramp sessions now require authentication. And we tightened auth-ownership checks on cf-tasks so background jobs only ever see their owner's data.

Smaller things

A big RAM-reduction pass landed — sidebar paging, embedding quantization, and blob LRU caches keep memory usage tight on long sessions. Slide decks migrated off Konva onto the Anuma JSX runtime, with sharper rendering and a snappier editor. The "Request aborted" race in Council Mode was fixed on mobile. Audio generation costs were updated.
