Choose how you sign in, where your data lives, and which AI models you use, with transparent privacy options and user-owned memory.
Anuma is a private AI assistant designed to give you control over your data, your memory, and your AI experience. Choose how you sign in, where your information is stored, and which AI models power your conversations. Every setting is transparent, with choices between privacy, convenience, and capability.
Unlike traditional AI platforms that lock you into a single model and a single privacy policy, Anuma lets you access leading AI models including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Qwen, Kimi, and more, while keeping ownership of your personal context and memory.
Privacy isn't all or nothing. You decide how you sign in, where your data lives, and which AI models you use, with the honest tradeoff behind every option laid out in plain language.
No identity, no cloud sync, no closed-source models. Nothing leaves your device.
Sync across devices and use closed-source models like GPT, Claude. Anuma minimizes what is shared and encrypts everything, so you stay more private than going direct.
Privacy in Anuma isn't all-or-nothing. It's three dials you set yourself, each a choice between more private and more convenient. Try it below and watch your level update.
Your account identity. How much do we even know about you?
The tradeoff: Wallet shares zero identity, but you safeguard your own key. Email is easier to recover but links your account to a real address.
Where your chats, memories, and files actually live.
The tradeoff: Local-only never leaves the device, and you will not be able to access Anuma from other devices. Encrypted sync travels through Cloudflare, but it's end-to-end encrypted, so Cloudflare cannot see your data.
The engines behind your chats, and what they're allowed to see and keep.
The tradeoff: Open-source models don't retain or train on your data. Closed-source models are the most capable but may retain prompts per their own policies. Anuma still makes them more private by minimizing what is shared and never training on your conversations.
Nothing is locked in. Every dial can be changed from settings whenever you want. Privacy that grows and relaxes with you.
Your AI memory is the context that makes Anuma useful, and it belongs to you at every privacy level.
Stored with AES-256 using a key only you hold.
Your context follows you across every model you use.
View, edit, scope, or permanently delete any entry, anytime.
Toggle private for open-source only, or pick what each model sees.
Detected personal data is replaced with placeholders before the message leaves your device, then restored locally in the reply.
Email me at john.doe@example.com, my cell is 555-123-4567.
Email me at [EMAIL_1], my cell is [PHONE_1].
Turn on PII Redaction in Privacy settings and Anuma scans your chat messages on your device before they are sent. Detected personal details (emails, phone numbers, SSNs, credit cards, IP addresses, API keys) are swapped for placeholders, so the AI model only ever sees [EMAIL_1], never your real address.
When the response comes back, Anuma restores the real values locally, so your chat reads exactly as normal. The map between real values and placeholders stays in memory on your device and is never transmitted. No extra server, proxy, or vault in the path.
Most privacy tools redact at a server or gateway, where your data still reaches a third party first. Anuma does it on the device, so for the data it detects, the sensitive value is never sent at all. It is opt-in, off by default, and best-effort protection for common, structured personal data.
Privacy-first tools keep your data safe, but most make you choose between private models and powerful ones. Anuma gives you both, plus memory you actually own.

No vague promises. Here is exactly where your data lives, how it is encrypted, and what does (and does not) leave your device.
Every conversation, memory, and file starts and stays on the device you are using. Anuma stores them in an on-device database (IndexedDB in the browser, SQLite on mobile), and each wallet gets its own isolated instance.
Media files live in a sandboxed filesystem that other pages cannot touch. Nothing is sent to a server unless you choose to turn on encrypted cloud backup. There is no central pile of your chats waiting to be breached.
Sensitive content is encrypted with 256-bit AES-GCM before it ever touches storage. Your encryption key is derived from your wallet signature using SHA-256 and HKDF. It lives in memory for your session and is never written to disk or sent to a server.
There is no escrow, no recovery mechanism, and no backdoor. Even with full access to our servers, no Anuma employee can decrypt your data. The flip side: if you lose your wallet, your encrypted data is gone for good. That is the point: no one else can ever reach it.
Want your data to survive a lost laptop? Cloud backup is completely opt-in. When you enable it, your data is encrypted with your wallet-derived key and verified with a SHA-256 checksum before anything leaves your device. Anuma stores only the encrypted blob. Even a full server compromise yields nothing readable.
Delta sync uploads only what changed, not your entire history every time. And you choose exactly what gets backed up (conversations, media, or memories), toggle by toggle.
Most AI tools make money from your data. Anuma doesn't. The business model never depends on reading, keeping, or selling what you share.
Your conversations are never mined to target you. There is no ad business sitting behind your data.
Anuma does not train models on what you say. Your prompts are not someone else’s dataset.
Nothing is kept on our servers unless you turn on encrypted backup, and even then, only blobs we can’t read.
Private AI is artificial intelligence you can use without handing over your identity, conversations, or personal data to be stored, profiled, or used for training. With Anuma, privacy is a spectrum you control: you choose how you sign in, where your data lives, and which models you use. Your memory is encrypted on your device, and nothing leaves it unless you opt in.
Yes. Anuma is private by default. Your conversations, memories, and files live on your device, encrypted with 256-bit AES-GCM using a key derived from your wallet. No server ever sees plaintext, there are no ads, no training on your data, and zero data retention on open-source models. You can dial privacy up or down, but even the most convenient setup is more private than the default on most AI platforms.
The most private setup on Anuma is wallet login, local-only storage, and open-source models. In that mode there is no email or identity linked to your account, nothing leaves your device, and the models retain and train on nothing. You can relax any of these dials for more convenience or capability, and Anuma shows you the exact tradeoff for each choice.
Yes. You can start using Anuma as a free private AI chat app, with your conversations kept on your device and encrypted by default. Paid plans add more usage and access to additional AI models, but privacy works the same on every plan.
The best private AI chatbot keeps your data on your device, encrypts it with a key only you hold, never trains on your conversations, and lets you delete everything at any time. Anuma is built to meet all four: privacy by architecture, not by policy.
Yes. Anuma ties your data to a wallet key rather than your name, email, or phone number, and your conversations stay encrypted on your device. That lets you have a genuinely anonymous, private AI chat without handing over a real-world identity.
Yes. Anuma is available as a private AI chat app on Android and iOS, as well as on the web. Your encrypted memory and conversation history sync across every device, so you can start on your phone and continue on desktop.
Not necessarily. Local-only is the most private option because nothing leaves your device, but it is not the only way to stay private. Anuma also offers encrypted sync, where data is encrypted on your device before it uploads and can only be decrypted on your devices, so Anuma cannot read it. Private AI is about who can access your data, not only about where it is stored.
Frontier models are the most capable but the least private, because their providers may retain prompts under their own policies. Anuma makes them meaningfully more private by minimizing the data shared with providers, encrypting everything in transit, never profiling you, and never training on your conversations. It is still more private than logging into ChatGPT or Claude directly. For zero retention, switch to open-source models.
Yes. Nothing is locked in. Every dial (sign in, sync, and models) can be changed from settings whenever you want. Your encrypted memory works at every privacy level and follows you across models and devices, so you can tighten or relax privacy without losing your context.
Start fully private and relax the dials whenever you want, or never.
